Waiting at the airport before my trip to France, I was flicking through images of the Paris Métiers d'Art show, screenshotting my favourite looks and wishing I had some of the pieces to wear on my journey!
These images have been saved to my phone ever since, and I look longingly at the beautiful pieces whenever I have time.
I love Chanel. I think Karl Lagerfeld has sustained such a beautiful empire created by the mother of modern fashion, Coco herself. Lagerfeld always maintains the heritage of the brand through quilted pieces and tweed fabrics, while still creating a look that is fresh and current. The involvement of younger influencers such as Lily-Rose Depp, Rowan Blanchard and Willow Smith has shifted the focus of the brand from something that was synonymous with your grandma's wardrobe, to a brand that is coveted by all ages.
Honestly I am in love with this particular collection from Chanel, so I thought I'd share it with you!

As if I could fall any more in love with Maria Grazia Chiuri
Her Fall/Winter show for Dior was nothing short of perfection for me.
Again she incorporated that romantic wistfulness that was omnipresent in her past two shows for the house, but contrasted this with militaristic shapes and styles. Navy blue permeated the collection, as well as space motifs and leather berets!
For me, the collection captured a perfect mix of effeminate class and a boyish charm.
Watch the show, and see for yourself the ingenious creations of Maria Grazia Chiuri, and if anyone has a few thousand dollars they are willing to lend me so I can buy one of those berets, let me know!!

As many of you would know from my borderline excessive posting on instagram during the months of December and January, I spent one whole blissful month realising my dream of living in France. Although I spent most of the trip in Reims with my exchange sister, my amazing host family took us to Paris for three days.
I fell in love with the dreamy city, and promised myself that I would return as soon as possible, hopefully to live!
Here are the polaroids I took when I was in Paris, a perfect little keepsake of what was the most magical three days of my life!!!

I'M IN LOVE WITH DIOR
The past two Dior fashion shows have been perfection. Watching them has filled my heart with a whimsical childish joy. Maria Grazia Chiuri, the new artistic director for Dior, has infused her first two collections for the iconic label with astrological symbols and tarot card motifs, in reference to Christian Dior's superstitious nature. He was known to ritualistically consult his tarot card reader before he launched each fashion show. Both collections are permeated with femininity, strength and, of course, abundant inspiration!
