Super sorry there was no post last week, I was really lazy and feel really bad about it.
So here is a little update on whats happening and what has already happened.
~
So next week I have work experience. I am working in the city and get a lunch break so you can expect some pictures from that. (hopefully).
I am so excited but also really nervous.
~
Last Saturday I went out exploring Fitzroy with a friend. We looked at tonnes of vintage clothing, ate good food and drank lots of coffee. It was a really nice day and I had loads of laughs.

I also got very excited about using a payphone for the fist time.
small things amuse small minds.

So this blog post was a kind of rambled stream of thoughts, but I hope you enjoyed xx

January Inspiration : 1960s

Ahoy Sailors,
So recently I've been channeling a lot of inspiration from all thing 1960s. I love the light colours and the shape of all the clothing. I feel like 1960s mod clothing is made in really flattering shapes. I've also really been liking 1960s makeup. I think the minimal makeup on the face and the emphasis on the eyes is really flattering and looks gorgeous. So here are some images of things that have been inspiring me this month. 1960s and other.

☓Photo Diary : Florence☓

Ahoy Sailors,
We are coming to the end of our trip and I really on't want to leave. I fell in love with Florence so I'll show you some pictured from this beautiful city.
We spent a lot of time in florence in art galleries. The art is so beautiful. I loved learning all the historical meanings behind famous works of art. My favourite artists in these museums would have to be Michelangelo, Domenico Ghirlandaio and Leonardo da Vinci.
We went into a really cool palace called Palazzo di Vecchio. We got a really cool guided tour and it was awesome because we got to go into a secret passage. It was priceless to see people's faces when we appeared from out of a wall.
One of the best things in Florence was the food. I love Pasta, and I think that Florence has the best pasta in the world.
This is an outfit I wore to the Uffizi Gallery. My Jumper is from GAP, my skirt is from Topshop, my shoes are Converse and my bag is from the markets in Cambodia.
If you are planning on visiting Florence, I would definitely recommend reading The Agony and The Ecstasy by Irving Stone. It gives you a great insight into the Medici and a lot of Florence's artists.
