BACK IN SYDNEY VIDEO

 

 

One weekend in late July, I flew up to Sydney to visit my favourite twins while they were in Australia. We had an amazing time exploring Manly, and shared lots of laughs as we caught up over smoothie bowls. Here is a short video showing a bit of what we got up to.

BIRTHDAY FESTIVITIES

For my birthday last Friday, I thought it was a nice idea to invite some friends over, make a bunch of yummy food, and sit around and chat. It ended up being a really cold day which sucked but we had a lot of fun.

I also went out to get lunch and go vintage shopping in Fitzroy. We went to Radhey kitchen and chai bar, which was amazing. I had the most amazing day

JOURNAL EXCERPT :

'Relaxing your walls and letting someone in is the most therapeutic and healthy thing you can do for your soul and it really does heal you. We need to open up to people and be more vulnerable and share our insecurities so we can really understand people and bond with them on a more personal level. I was talking to Jessy and Issy about how I think it is so important to observe your motives and decide why you are doing the things you do. Knowing what motivates you helps you to establish what is important to you and decide what is important in your life to help you be happy and reach your goals. It can help you decide what people and things are necessary for your and choose what dead weight to shed. We have the option to change anything in our lives and I think sometimes we get whisked away in the idea that "nothing is fair" and "we have no choice" we sometimes cease to realise that we are the conductors of our own fate.'

I think I want to try and post some more thoughtful writing. I really want to encourage thought and even discussion so please comment your opinions and thoughts.

IT WAS OUR PLAN B...

If you've read my last post, or watched my last video, you would know that I spent and incredible week in Malaysia, soaking up the sun, and visiting my main babes. 

We had an amazing couple of days together, and although I wish we had longer, I am so grateful for these beautiful girls and incredibly thankful that I was able to go see them.

We got brunch at the last place we wanted to go, where we had to get our second choice meal (as they had sold out of our first choice) and had to eat at the worst table ( we wanted one with better lighting)

ironically enough, the restaurant was called Plan B

After brunch we shopped around for a bit, and then found a great white wall where we took tonnes of photos. If you want to see more pics check out my instagram @meghan.lewis

I had such a great time with these girls and it honestly felt like I had never left. In the end, we just couldn't bear saying 'goodbye' so we said 'see you tomorrow'  and pretending wed all be at school together the next day...

MALAYSIA | 2015

Hey Everyone,

As I said in my last post, I have just returned from an exciting break from winter in Malaysia.

I had such a marvelous time snorkeling all day and eating roti canai and black pepper chicken. 

It was so relaxing and I have come back feeling completely rejuvenated and alive.

It was also so amazing to see my best friends again, featured at the end of the video. I will have a blog post up from our fun filled weekend up soon.
